Raphael Designs

I'm sure that many of you girls have heard on Carrie Raphael. She's a great interior designer and owner of Raphael Designs. I discovered Carrie thanks to Country Living magazine (I love that magazine!).
I immediately loved everything of her style and her home. For example, look at her kitchen. Isn't stunning? Wouldn't be the perfect kitchen for making sweets? It is a dream! It's all so fresh, clean and bright. I really love the Swedish style used in her home.
This bedroom is so dreamy...I love the blue flowered slipcover, the painted floors, and the white bench. Carrie if you are reading this, I love your style! Oh wow, such a great inspiration! P.s. Do you think she would mind if I moved in?

Tag & Award

My lovely friend Gaia from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland tagged me few days ago, I'm a bit late but here I am. It's fun to be tagged! Thanks Gaia!
The rules are: 1. Open your "My Photos" folder and select the 6th folder 2. Select the 6th photo in that folder 3. Post the photo along with the story behind it 4. Tag some of your friends to do the same thing
How fun!
So, this is my photo. A few days ago I was in my new home to check how the works were going. I can say that everything is going well! Can you see the happiness in my face?!?!? Now it's your turn!
Simply Mel, Nicole, Mayra and Tiina.
Sweet Monika from Eco-Stylista gave me the "Lemonade Stand Award"! Thanks Monika! You made my day!
I would like to give this award to these blogs that I recently discovered! Bits & Pieces by Stacy Claire Boyd ~ Alluring Interiors ~ Torie Jayne ~ Junk Garden Girl

Turquoise

Deciding on colors is crucial for any decorating plan, and this turquoise is a perfect color for a beach house. Beach is about fun and relax, therefore a serene color palette that blends with the view outside is a good idea.
I really need it now....relax, relax, relax.... I'm sorry for the lack of comments on your blogs, but it has been a super busy week...the next would be the last week of job..yeah! Had I already thank you for your lovely friendship? Thanks from the bottom of my heart.

Mallorca Island

The four largest Balearic islands are Mallorca, Minorca, Ibiza and Formentera. We saw a wonderful house in Formentera few weeks ago, here. Now it's time for this gorgeous house in Mallorca.
For many people Mallorca is the ideal dream of living abroad or owning an holiday home. Mallorca is a renowned holiday destination for all nationalities across the globe. Many celebrities vacation here and some even own private holiday homes for frequent visits, so it's possible that you come across some famous faces.

Bridal magazines are eye candy for me! A great inspiration! I should get married soon to have a dress like these!!

The table settings could be perfect for any party not only for weddings. Just like these gorgeous table settings by Sunday Suppers blog.

Totally beautiful! Stylish and original!

I adore this burlap setting! So pretty and rustic.

Hope you have a great weekend! For me and my Love will be such a really hard weekend of work...tomorrow we start painting home and here there are 38°C~100°F! I can't wait to start posting pics!

Ink & Peat

I was reading one of my favorite blog Rose Tea Room and I saw a post about Ink & Peat store that has captured my attention. Ink & Peat is a lovely boutique of flowers and decorative items, located in Portland, Oregon. I'm sure that my friend Gaia is going to love this store! Isn't very pretty?
I'm loving those glass cloches...cloches are just one of my many obsessions! Cloches done with with small green plants are so cute! Glass is such an enchanting way to decorate your home, charming in a grouping on a tabletop or placed individually in a setting.
This shop looks like heaven! I hope to visit in person one day. Check out their blog here. All these lovely pics are took by the great photographer Lisa Warninger.

Carrier and Company

Take a few moments to look the online portfolio of Carrier and Company. These pics that you're going to see are from their Forge River project .
It's always a good day when you get to see beautiful interiors like these. Isn't it?
I can't get enough of the pretty details of these rooms.
The touches of pink in the bedrooms are really standing out for me, along with the fabrics. You must see the rest of the portfolio!
