A look at the way they work, think and find inspiration. See what inspire Mariangela and Claudia in their design process.

Inspiration isn’t something that just pops into a designer’s head. Most of the time, we must make an active approach to discover it.

Claudia loves to travel all around the world looking for inspiration and ideas for Blanc's furniture and home accessories. She often flies to Paris, London, New York , Provence and to the Orient. When she come back home, she developed new ideas and projects with her team.

Everything starts from the colors and designs chosen for the season.
Their stylish and sophisticated furniture is coordinated with their romantic home accessories and their precious home linens collection.

Where do you find inspiration?

Usually we find inspiration from our travels, fashion magazines, architecture and interior design magazines. Our best collections are often those made at the last time with high adrenaline to finish everything in time. Other time we used to take ideas from old fabrics and accessories that we found in flea markets and we meticulously collected.

Do you follow the entire process step by step?

We follow every single step from the selection of the different colors for each different season, the choise of fabrics to the final prototype. Often our samples are also redone for 6 times!

Who choose textures, fabrics and colors?

We are a team, everyone contributes to the development of collections. We have designers, graphics, and of course me and my sister Claudia. We both are always behind the choice of each material and designs. We still work even when we are on vacation! We try to find inspiration and ideas from what is all around us and from fashion, always looking for new trends.
