Capuccino, a slice of carrot cake, my brand new books and scent of flowers...

My best friend Gaia gave me this lovely little bouquet of flowers yesterday. She was waiting me after work, just outside my office, she has been soo sweet.

She's one of the most important person in my life, she's sweet, she's cute, unselfish, a true friend, someone who understand me in a while without speaking. We have same tastes, same ideals, we're just as two sisters.

My new books arrived yesterday, they're a good reading in this cold morning.

I heart Anthro

As I told you the other day, I have a thing for online shopping....four days ago I ordered some beautiful books from Amazon, my order has been delivered this morning. I just received them! They're gorgeous, I'm so happy!I will show you them!

Well, my addiction and my love for Anthropologie are not a great combination for my bills....

Things I Love

Today I would like to share with you a few random pictures from around my home. Little details are very important for me. I love whites, greys and all neutral colours. For this reason I truly love my little consolle.

I set my fave candles and lanterns up on the consolle in my living room. Candles create a magical and relaxing atmosphere.

These old photos show our grandparents. I love my grandparents, their stories and advices has teached me some of my life's most important lessons.
Looking at old photos, have you ever stopped to think, where did the time go?

Magazines....I love reading magazines. They're throughout my house. In the living room, in my bedroom and also in my bathroom. I always found interesting tips and ideas in these pages. I know there are a lot of great online ones out there now, but I still prefer good old  glossy paper.

Browsing on Internet I recently found Andrea's blog "Faded Plains" and I discovered her beautiful online shop. I thought it would be nice to share it with all of you.

I was looking online for some paper goods inspiration and I found Faded Plains.

You know, I have a little online shopping addiction and I really like all these vintage things....I think I really "need" some of them...

Hoss Intropia

Good morning loves! I was waiting for it and finally the new summer collection is arrived.

Hoss's summer 2010 collection and campaign is lovely as usual. It's sweet, elegant and very feminine.

Have I ever told you how big is my love for Hoss? Since I knew this spanish brand, few years ago, I immediately understood it would be my fave brand ever! Seriously.

I love their dresses and I think that they're never enough in my closet. Dresses are comfortable, chic, feminine, romantic, and Hoss dresses have an excellent fit, beautiful shapes, gorgeous colours and patterns and of course excellent fabrics.

If it was only warm enough here to wear such lovely pieces...It's soo cold and I'm soo loking forward to warm weather and short sleeves.

Happy Monday

Yes it's monday again...how was your weekend? Mine is always too short! Saturday morning, I received a beautiful surprise in my box letter. The talented jewellery designer, Annapaola, from Le Chou Chou Bijoix, sent me this lovely handmade brooch.

She creates beautiful earings, necklaces, rings....you can't miss her blog and her Etsy shop. 

Along with the bills it was great to find this lovely gift! Thanks so much Annapaola!

On Saturday it's impossible not to buy something....so I went to one of my faves store in the city, just to take a look around... I found this lovely polka dot tablecloth and this white runner from Blanc MariClò.

I also ordered two paintings for my living room that I saw last week at the Macef fair in Milan, I will show them as soon as I get them.

What a better way to conclude my weekend than an homemade pizza margherita? My perfect Sunday evening. Pizza, coke and a movie!

Pizza and movie night sounds cozy to me, especially with this cold weather outside. 

Believe me, this is truly the perfect way to end my Sunday.

Sweet Indulgence

I don't know about you but I absolutely love receiving food gifts! Recently I found this cute and funny idea. Why don't make a few cookie mixes for a gift idea? Isn't so lovely?

I found this lovely idea on amazingly beautiful Bakerella website. You can also download their beautiful labels! I will try to find a nice fit-to-jar recipe to do exactly this! I love their site and their fresh ideas.

I just have to say that I love DIY Valentine's Day brownie bags from Kathleen of Twig & Thistle. She's very talented. 

They're lovely & romantic, and no doubt they'd be a sweet surprise for any Valentine! This is a very simple project, you can download the file and print directly on the paper bag.

I love the idea of sendind this to your friends or bringing them to the office to treat your coworkers. So, it's time for baking some cookies for your Valentine's Day!
