Brydferth~Giveaway

Photobucket
Hello friends! Time for another giveaway from the beautiful shop Brydferth!

Please tell us a little about yourself and your shop.
I am a farm girl, a fashionista, a soon to be bride, a lover of life and nature. I find my inspiration on a daily basis from the farm, people, the mountains, the seasons. Life is beautiful and that is why I chose to name my shop Brydferth. Brydferth is the Welsh word for Beautiful. I am half Welsh and so I decided to bring a bit of the old world roots into my life by choosing a Welsh word.

What inspires you?
I have a constant burning desire to make things. I have a little studio in my home where I try to make most of my creations happen but the kitchen table tends to be a popular place as well for these creative moments.
I share my antique 1860's home with my soon to be husband Darren and our toy poodle, Honey. Our home is smoke free and I tell the dog she can't smoke either. ;)

Any advice for friends who are wanting to start their own shop?
Find something you love, know where your inspiration comes from... be creative.  Take great pictures and just work hard.

You have the chance to win this

A Countryside Wedding

Swept away by this romantic countryside wedding...if you're looking for a country wedding decoration, you will find below beautiful and inspiring pictures.

The table looks great! I love these gingham runners and all the rustic details.
{images via Once Wed}

I'm more of a rustic french countryside girl than a modern one! This could be a perfect wedding for me.
All the details have to be linked with the countryside, the old fashion style and above all you have to feel the story of each element. I really wouldn't like a classic and formal wedding.
p.s. I'm planning my engagement session...I will tell you more soon...

Simple Bliss

Hello everybody! It's Monday again...hope you had a beautiful weekend.

I had a simple and relaxing weekend. Saturday morning I've bake some sweets, prepared a yummy luch for us, took some photos, and we also found the time to went to the travel agency. We have already booked our summer holidays. Destination? Formentera, Spain. Such a lovely island!

  {photos by me}

Yesterday was a sunny and hot day, and after a quick lunch I went out for a walk with my friend Gaia. We left boys at home! She has recently moved into her new home, wich is very closed to mine. I hope to be able to show you some photos of her new nest.
What about your weekend?

And now, it's time to announce the winner of the Gilded Bee's packaging grab kit!
Congratulations to Mary Jo from Trust Your Style!

Vintage style

While I appreciate all different kinds of styles, vintage has always been one of my favorite. Soft, romantic vintage sprinkled with provencal and french details probably best describes my style.
I love things associated with the past, things that have special meaning to me.

Perhaps that’s why I love photography so much. My desire is to capture those memories in a pretty way so they can be remembered forever. Happy weekend everybody!

Picnic Inspired

This is the perfect season to enjoy dining outdoors and the perfect day to share with you these images. I am really loving these beautiful pics I'm going to show you today. Enjoy.

I came across this stunning greenhouse picnic shoot via Frolic and I just loved it. This wedding shoot was took by the talented Lisa Warninger for Project Wedding.

This is such a great idea for an informal summer wedding. A gorgeous greenhouse filled with flowers and yummy things!

I simply adore this vintage picnic. The amazing photographer Caroline Tran took these stunning pictures for this wonderful couple (I love her dress!!). I think it's so much fun having these stylized shoot.

Right now I'm feeling so inspired that my head might explode. I'm thinking of an engagement  photo shoot...I really would like to do it.
Happy Earth Day!

Vintage Grain Sacks

I've been thinking about vintage grain sacks quite a bit lately....

Monday afternoon I went to a local shop looking for some fabrics for my new pillow covers (yes, I'd like to change my sofa's pillows) and I immediately felt in love for some gorgeous vintage grain sacks and runners. I need to come back in these days with all the right measures.

In the meanwhile I'd like to share with you these beautiful shops that I recently found.

My fascination with these grain sacks was all started years ago but recently my passion has grown thanks to the guest post of Maria from Dreamy Whites. I was amazed with her burlap table runner and now I'm looking for the perfect one for my table. I think I've found it.

Grain sack material is becoming ever so popular right now and one of the reason is there are many ways to use it.

Vintage grain sacks are my current obsession. I'm starting to see them everywhere!

Living Country

A lovely find I have today for you. Phil and Philippa with their children live in this beautiful Derbyshire's country home. With no money left after they bought this nest, they amazingly transformed this cottage into a stunning home. Their home looks really cozy and comfortable.
A little bit of french and a little bit of english syle...such a great combo.

At the beginnig this house looked very different from the warm home it is now. Philippa and her husband did an excellent job!

The master bedroom looks so welcoming.

 They have many children!
