Swedish Interiors (again)

Good morning and happy new week everybody! Today I'm in Sweden again. I can't stay away from Sweden real estate sites. Oh, I wish I could buy this home.

The kitchen is superb! Modern and cozy at the same time. And I simply adore white floor!! I want them! Maybe one day, in my next home.

Ah the Swedes! I'm always impressed how they can make white interiors so warm and homely...
Oh, I'd like to jump into this bedroom right now. It looks so inviting! For many other beautiful interiors visit Alvhem Makleri. Wish you all a lovely day.

Venue Hunting~Part Five

Oh my! I really didn't know that it was going to be this hard! Finding the right location to have a unique and special wedding it's soo tiring! Wednesday afternoon we went to this charming villa with our precious and talented wedding planner Laura. Oh she's a fantastic lady, and she has a fantastic blog as well. You can find Laura over at Tren di Nozze

The first we thing we loved about this venue is the location. Not too far from the city, but with a lot of green and beautiful fields all around.

There's a super beautiful garden filled with gorgeous flowers and plants.

The garden has a magical atmosphere but there's a problem. A big problem...if it rains? In this case we should move inside, and guys, we really don't like the inside..mmmm

I think that this is the time to think about all the positive and negative aspects of all the venues we saw, and then make a decision.

And now...It's time for a giveaway's winner! I received hundreds of comments for this week's giveaway, such a great success!
The winner is...
No.6! Congratulations Helena from A Diary of Lovely!
The beautiful "La Petite" necklace is yours!

Wish you all a wonderful weekend!!

Y is for yellow

I am currently looking for inspiring wedding tablescape, and this is truly inspiring!

I don't like formal wedding tablescape, I will try to do something different for mine. Soft palette of colours, white, cream, grey, lavender, burlap linens and vintage details. This yellow tablescape has totally catched my eyes.

Those mini chalkboards are soo pretty! I'd like to use them for my tables numbers!

Simple details

Hello everybody, doesn't this house looks inviting and welcoming? Hope you will enjoy the tour as much as I did.

In my opinion, semplicity is one of the most important things in interior design. I love how this home looks so clean and simple, but amazingly comfortable.

Contrast are very important as well. Look at this, whites with natural wodden table and chairs.

I'd like to thank you all guys! I received several messages and comments! I'm so glad you liked the weekly giveaway from Le Chou Chou Bijoux, Paola is really a talented and fantastic girl. Thanks again Paola for letting me host your beautiful creation!

Peonies & more

Good morning friends! How was your weekend?

Saturday morning when I woke up my home was filled with sun. Finally, a wonderful sunny weekend!

One of the things I like to do on saturday morning is to buy some fresh flowers in my favorite florist's shop, and this is what I did.

In these days my home is full of peonies. I truly love them. Peonies will be the perfect flowers for my wedding bouquet.

My weekend is always full of things to do...once I finished my houseworks, I put my new pillows on my sofas and I arranged my flowers.

Stripes, greys and natural linens. Do you like them?

And I love the new three pairs of flats I found Friday afternoon!

Yesterday, we finished the weekend with a yummy outdoor lunch with some friends. This is the stunning Vesta of one of our friends. He collects vintage bikes and scooters, and  recently he  has completely renovated this 150 Vespa. Absolutely gorgeous!

Wish you all a happy new week! Mine has not begun very well...I have toothache and I need a dentist!

Photobucket

Hello everybody! I have a beautiful giveaway for you this week, from Le Chou Chou Bijoux.

Paola is the italian talented creator of this super lovely jewelry and accessories collection. In her Etsy shop you will find many super yummy bijoux, rings, necklaces, charms,....many, many eye candy!

Please, tell us something about yourself and your beautiful shop. How did you get started making these cute jewels?
My name is Paola, I am a graduate goldsmith born near the city of Naples, which has a great tradion of goldsmiths and miniatures (yes, this is the famous city of San Gregorio Armeno, the "street of cribs!")
I create bijoux using ceramic, resins, polymeric materials, Swarovski and pearls. Then lace, braid, ribbons new and vintage. I use hypoallergenic and nichel free materials but I can also use silver 925 and gold. I started to create them 16 years ago and have never stopped since. Also I love sewing, making web pages, creating by myself my own cosmetics, reading books...and learning, always.

Fave blogs/website?
I like many fashion blogs, not all but only those written by people who love to talk about what they really like, beyond the personal economic interests. I follow expecially Youngdesigner, Willbefamous, Trend and the City, Boop.it, Stylenotes and others, this is a long list!
I love your blog, your photos are delightful and and your articles very interesting, and of course I love Etsy, this is a beatiful place to stay, full of inspirations and beautiful people.
I like very much the webssite Do it in Paris, because when I read it I can dream to be in Paris with a macaron in my hand...by Hermé, of course!

The lucky winner has the chance to win this beautiful necklace!

From the market

The other day I went to the farmers' market, it was such a great treat. The sun was shining and it was really a beautiful spring day. I picked up some bulbs, bread, cheese and other yummy things for dinner. I love to have fresh flowers in my home, and you?
I feel at peace in my home, and I like to feel the scent of flowers in every room.

A little trick I like to use to make my days much more pleasant is to find little, simple pleasures and sprinkle them throughout my day. Thanks so much for stopping by today, you my friends are the absolute best!

A Charming Villa

Good morning everybody! Today I'd like to show this beautiful and charming villa designed for a family of seven.

The interior’s color theme is pretty neutral with a lot of whites but with contrasting elements of decor. Bits of color are added here and ther. Just lovely.

This villa has a clean and welcoming look. Perfect for a family of seven!

Venue Hunting ~ Part Four

Between olive trees, vineyards and fruit trees, we have found this charming country farm. The whole place gave a romantic feel, old and vintage. This is the fave of the other day.

The farm is part of  an enchanting plain, rich in ancient history.

It's one of the better solutions we have seen. It offers beautiful green spaces and also beautiful indoors for the dining. We have to remember that May is not too hot, is recommend an indoor dining.

We love this country and informal style. Candles and lanterns everywhere for a magical atmosphere.

This is where we could have dinner with all our guests. The whole room is surrounded by large windows and set in a panoramic position overlooking the hills. This room creates a perfect atmosphere for an enchanted evening.

 {photos by me}

Now I’m not too picky about my venue, I just want romanticism, class, sophistication and that all important WOW factor. The venue is probably the hardest decision we have to make initially.

Well, I’ve still got about a month and a half of looking for places, then we want to book it. Might as well take that time and use it to the fullest!
